Important Safety Information

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS HEATER.

  • This fan heater is equipped with an overheat protection feature. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. Unplug the unit, allow it to cool down for a few minutes, then plug it back in. If the issue persists, contact support.
  • A tip-over safety switch ensures the unit shuts off if it falls down (forwards, backwards, or on its side). Ensure the heater is placed on a stable, flat surface.
  • DO NOT COVER the heater. Covering the heater can lead to overheating and fire hazards. Ensure clear space around the unit for proper airflow.
  • This product is ETL certified, indicating compliance with North American safety standards.
  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • Do not use this heater in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations where it may come into contact with water.
  • Keep flammable materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
  • Unplug the heater when not in use.

Setup Instructions

The Sohler Portable Electric Fan Heater comes fully assembled and ready for use. Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Unpack the Heater: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from walls, furniture, curtains, and other flammable materials. Do not place it on soft surfaces like beds or rugs where openings may be blocked.
  3. Power Connection: Ensure the heater is in the "OFF" position (0 on the mode selector knob) before plugging it in. Plug the heater directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz wall outlet. Do not use extension cords, power strips, or surge protectors.

Operating Instructions

The heater features two control knobs: a thermostat control and a mode selector.

Mode Selector Knob (Right Knob):

  • 0 (OFF): Turns the heater off.
  • Fan Only: Activates the fan without heat, providing air circulation.
  • I (Low Heat - 750W): Provides a lower heat output.
  • II (High Heat - 1500W): Provides maximum heat output.

To select a mode, rotate the right knob to the desired setting. The red power indicator light will illuminate when the unit is on.

Thermostat Control Knob (Left Knob):

This knob controls the desired room temperature when a heat setting (I or II) is selected. It ranges from minimum to maximum heat.

  1. Turn the thermostat knob to the maximum setting.
  2. Once the room reaches your desired temperature, slowly turn the thermostat knob counter-clockwise until the heater turns off.
  3. The heater will now cycle on and off automatically to maintain the set temperature.

Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper storage will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your heater.

  • Before Cleaning: Always unplug the heater from the wall outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or polishes as these may damage the finish.
  • Air Intake/Outlet: Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust and lint from the air intake and outlet grilles. Do not insert any objects into the grilles.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the heater in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

If your heater is not operating correctly, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

  • Rotate the mode selector knob to "I" (Low Heat) or "II" (High Heat).
  • Increase the thermostat setting by rotating the left knob clockwise.
Heater cycles on and off frequently.
  • Thermostat setting is too close to room temperature.
  • Overheat protection activating due to restricted airflow.
  • Adjust the thermostat to a slightly higher or lower setting.
  • Ensure the heater is not covered and there are no obstructions blocking the air intake or outlet. Clean any dust or lint from the grilles.
