5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the drone body with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Use the provided lens wipe or a microfiber cloth to clean the camera lens and vision sensors. Avoid abrasive materials.

5.2. Battery Care

  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries.
  • If storing for extended periods, discharge batteries to approximately 50-60% capacity.

5.3. Propeller Inspection

Before each flight, inspect all propellers for cracks, bends, or other damage. Replace any damaged propellers immediately to ensure safe flight.

5.4. Firmware Updates

Periodically check for and install the latest firmware updates for both the aircraft and the remote controller. Firmware updates often include performance improvements, new features, and bug fixes.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure batteries are fully charged and correctly inserted. Check power button sequence.
  • Signal Loss: Fly within the specified transmission range. Avoid areas with high electromagnetic interference. Ensure antennas on the remote controller are properly oriented.
  • Poor Image/Video Quality: Clean the camera lens. Adjust camera settings (ISO, aperture, shutter speed) for current lighting conditions. Ensure the gimbal is stable.
  • Obstacle Avoidance Warnings: Understand that obstacle avoidance has limitations and may not function optimally in certain lighting conditions (e.g., direct sunlight, very dark environments) or with thin objects like wires. Always maintain visual line of sight.
  • Flight Instability: Perform IMU and compass calibrations as instructed in the app. Check for damaged propellers.
