3. Product Components
Familiarize yourself with the various parts of your camcorder.

- Lens: Captures video and still images.
- LED Fill Light: Provides additional illumination in low-light conditions.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation and Charging
The camcorder uses rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Ensure batteries are fully charged before first use.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camcorder.
- Insert the battery, ensuring the correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
- Connect the camcorder to a power source using the provided USB cable for charging. The charging indicator will illuminate.

4.2 SD Card Installation
A Class 10 or higher SD card (up to 128GB, not included) is required for recording.
- Locate the SD card slot, usually on the side or bottom of the camcorder.
- Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing the correct direction until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently press the card until it pops out.
4.3 External Microphone Attachment
For enhanced audio quality, attach the external microphone.
- Slide the microphone onto the hot shoe mount on top of the camcorder.
- Secure it by tightening the locking mechanism.
- Plug the microphone's audio cable into the camcorder's microphone input jack.

4.4 Lens Hood Attachment
The lens hood helps reduce glare and lens flare, improving image quality in bright conditions.
- Align the lens hood with the front of the camcorder lens.
- Twist or snap it into place until securely fastened.

4.5 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the POWER button to turn the camcorder on or off.

5.1 Basic Recording (Video/Photo)
- Video Recording: In video mode, press the RECORD button to start recording. Press again to stop.
