3. Product Components

Familiarize yourself with the various parts of your camcorder.

  • Lens: Captures video and still images.
  • LED Fill Light: Provides additional illumination in low-light conditions.
  • Microphone Hot Shoe: For attaching the external microphone.
  • 3.0-inch 270° Rotation IPS Screen: For viewing, menu navigation, and self-recording.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation and Charging

The camcorder uses rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Ensure batteries are fully charged before first use.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camcorder.
  2. Insert the battery, ensuring the correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.
  4. Connect the camcorder to a power source using the provided USB cable for charging. The charging indicator will illuminate.

4.2 SD Card Installation

A Class 10 or higher SD card (up to 128GB, not included) is required for recording.

  1. Locate the SD card slot, usually on the side or bottom of the camcorder.
  2. Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing the correct direction until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently press the card until it pops out.

4.3 External Microphone Attachment

For enhanced audio quality, attach the external microphone.

  1. Slide the microphone onto the hot shoe mount on top of the camcorder.
  2. Secure it by tightening the locking mechanism.
  3. Plug the microphone's audio cable into the camcorder's microphone input jack.

4.4 Lens Hood Attachment

The lens hood helps reduce glare and lens flare, improving image quality in bright conditions.

  1. Align the lens hood with the front of the camcorder lens.
  2. Twist or snap it into place until securely fastened.

4.5 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the POWER button to turn the camcorder on or off.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Recording (Video/Photo)

  • Video Recording: In video mode, press the RECORD button to start recording. Press again to stop.
  • Photo Capture: In photo mode, press the PHOTO button to take a still image.
  • Switching Modes: Use the MODE button to switch between video, photo, and playback modes.

5.2 Zoom Function

Use the T (Telephoto) and W (Wide) buttons to zoom in and out. The camcorder features 16X digital zoom.

5.3 Screen Rotation (Selfie Mode)

The 3.0-inch IPS screen can rotate 270 degrees, allowing you to view yourself while recording, which is ideal for vlogging and selfies.

5.4 Menu Navigation

5.8 Connecting to PC/TV

  • To PC: Use the USB cable to connect the camcorder to your computer. It will appear as a removable disk, allowing you to transfer files.
  • To TV: Use an HDMI cable (not included) to connect the camcorder to a TV or monitor for viewing playback on a larger screen.
