4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to properly set up your aquarium chiller:
- Placement: Place the chiller on a stable, level surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches (15 cm) of space around all sides for adequate air circulation. Avoid direct sunlight.
- Acclimatization: After unboxing, allow the chiller to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
- Hose Connection: Cut the provided 3-meter hose into two equal halves. Attach one end of each hose to the chiller's inlet and outlet nozzles. Secure them with the provided hose clamps.
- Pump Installation: Place the water pump inside your aquarium or sump. Connect the other end of one hose to the pump's outlet. The other hose will serve as the return to your tank. Ensure the pump is fully submerged.
- Water Circulation: Position the return hose from the chiller into your aquarium or sump, ensuring it directs water flow appropriately without causing excessive current for sensitive aquatic life.
- Leak Check: Before plugging in the chiller, ensure all hose connections are tight and there are no leaks.
- Power On: Plug the chiller and the water pump into a grounded electrical outlet. The chiller will power on. Check for any leaks again during initial operation.

5. Operating Instructions
Temperature Setting
The chiller features a digital display and control panel for setting the desired water temperature. The recommended operating temperature range for most aquatic life is 68-78°F (20-26°C).
- Set Target Temperature: Press the SET button. The display will flash. Use the UP and DOWN arrows to adjust the target temperature (e.g., 68°F). Press SET again to confirm.
- Set Temperature Difference (Hysteresis): Long press the SET button until an 'F' code appears (e.g., F1). Use UP and DOWN to navigate to the parameter for temperature difference (often labeled 'd' or 'P'). Set this value (e.g., to 10 for 1.0°F or 1.0°C difference, depending on unit). This determines when the chiller will reactivate after reaching the target temperature. For example, if set to 68°F with a 2°F difference, the chiller will cool to 68°F, turn off, and turn back on when the temperature reaches 70°F.
- Calibration: If the chiller's displayed temperature differs from an accurate external thermometer, you can calibrate it. Refer to the specific instructions in your included service card or contact support for detailed calibration steps.

Security Protection
The chiller is equipped with safety features:
- Overcurrent Automatic Shutdown System: Protects the unit from electrical overloads.
- Power-off Temperature Memory System: In case of a power outage, the chiller will resume operation at the last set temperature once power is restored.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your chiller.
- Cleaning the Air Vents: Periodically clean the air intake and exhaust vents on the chiller to prevent dust and debris buildup, which can hinder heat dissipation. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
- Water Pump Cleaning: Disassemble and clean the water pump regularly to remove any algae or debris that may impede its function.
- Hose Inspection: Check hoses for kinks, blockages, or signs of wear. Replace if necessary.
- Evaporator Cleaning: For thorough cleaning of the titanium evaporator, consult a qualified technician or refer to advanced maintenance guides.
