Product Overview

This commercial glass 2-door merchandiser display cooler is designed for efficient and reliable refrigeration in various food service environments. It features a bottom-mounted compressor, self-closing swing doors, and LED lighting for optimal product visibility. The unit is NSF certified, ensuring it meets public health and safety standards.

Setup

1. Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Report any damage to the carrier immediately. Retain all packaging materials for potential return or warranty claims.

2. Placement

Position the refrigerator on a flat, stable surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit, especially for the bottom-mounted compressor. The unit is equipped with 4 lockable castor wheels for easy movement. Once in the desired location, lock the wheels to secure the unit.

Dimensions: Approximately 54 inches (Length) x 32 inches (Depth) x 81 inches (Height).

3. Power Connection

Connect the refrigerator to a standard 110V electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and can support the unit's 690 Wattage. The plug is located at the back of the unit.

4. Shelf Installation

The unit comes with 10 epoxy-coated shelves (5 for each door section). Install the shelves at desired heights using the adjustable shelf supports inside the cabinet. Ensure shelves are securely seated before placing items on them.

5. Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

Operating Instructions

1. Temperature Control

The refrigerator features a digital thermometer display and a knob for temperature adjustment. The temperature can be set between 0 to 10°C (32 to 50°F). Refer to the control panel located at the top front of the unit to monitor and adjust the temperature.

2. Internal Lighting

The unit is equipped with LED lights for enhanced visibility of stored products. A switch for the lighting is located on the control panel at the top front of the unit. There are also lights on the sides of the interior.

3. Door Operation

The merchandiser features self-closing double glass swing doors. These doors are designed to automatically close, helping to maintain internal temperature and energy efficiency. Ensure the doors close completely after each use.

4. Loading Products

Arrange products on the shelves to allow for proper air circulation. Do not block the internal fans located at the top of the interior, as this can impede cooling performance.

Maintenance

1. Regular Cleaning

Regularly clean the interior and exterior of the unit using a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. For the glass doors, use a glass cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that could damage surfaces. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.

2. Auto Defrost System

This refrigerator features an auto-defrost system, minimizing the need for manual defrosting. However, periodically check for excessive ice buildup, which may indicate an issue with the defrost cycle or door seal.

3. Door Gasket Inspection

Inspect the door gaskets regularly for any signs of wear, tears, or damage. A compromised gasket can lead to temperature fluctuations and increased energy consumption. The door gasket is replaceable if needed.

4. Condenser Coil Cleaning

The bottom-mounted compressor's condenser coils should be cleaned periodically to ensure efficient operation. Dust and debris buildup can reduce cooling efficiency and increase energy usage. Consult a qualified technician for condenser coil cleaning.

Troubleshooting

• Unit Not Cooling:
  • Check if the unit is properly plugged into a 110V outlet.
  • Verify the temperature setting on the digital control panel.
  • Ensure the doors are closing completely and the gaskets are sealing properly.
  • Check for any obstructions to the internal fans.
• Excessive Noise:
  • Ensure the unit is level and stable on its casters.
  • Check if any internal components (like shelves or products) are vibrating against the interior walls.
  • If the noise is coming from the compressor area, it may require professional inspection.
• Internal Lights Not Working:
  • Check the light switch on the control panel.
  • If individual LED strips are out, they may need replacement by a qualified technician.
