Installation

The Lock Connection KR-S80LC-BT is designed for hidden installation inside cabinets or drawers. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry before installation.

General Installation Steps:

  1. Determine Placement: Identify the optimal location inside your cabinet or drawer for both the lock body and the latch. The lock body should be mounted on the cabinet frame or drawer interior, and the latch on the moving door/drawer front. Ensure proper alignment for the bolt to engage.
  2. Mark Mounting Points: Use the lock body and latch as templates to mark the screw holes on the chosen surfaces.
  3. Drill Pilot Holes: Carefully drill pilot holes at the marked points to prevent wood splitting.
  4. Mount Lock Body: Secure the main lock body using the provided screws.
  5. Mount Latch: Secure the latch component, ensuring it aligns correctly with the lock body when the cabinet/drawer is closed. Test the alignment before fully tightening.
  6. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the lock body and insert 4 AAA batteries (not included), observing polarity. Close the compartment.
