4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Clean: Wash the inner cooking pan, inner lid, steam vent cap, measuring cup, rice spatula, and steaming tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Assemble: Ensure the inner lid and steam vent cap are correctly attached to the main unit. Place the inner cooking pan inside the main unit.
- Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, flat surface away from direct heat sources and moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Rice Cooking (White Rice)

- Press the START/REHEAT button to begin cooking. A melody will sound, and the cooking indicator will illuminate.
- Once cooking is complete, a melody will sound, and the unit will automatically switch to the "KEEP WARM" function.
5.2 Specialty Cooking Modes
The NL-GAQ10 offers various cooking modes. Follow the general steps for basic rice cooking, but select the appropriate menu option using the MENU button:
- BROWN: For brown rice. Refer to the inner pot markings for water levels.
