WINNTEC 24 Ton Air Service Jack Y432024 Instruction Manual

Model: Y432024

1. Important Safety Information

Read and understand all instructions and warnings before operating this air service jack. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.

  • Never exceed the rated capacity of 24 tons. Overloading can cause jack failure and severe injury.
  • Use only on a hard, level surface. Avoid uneven or soft ground.
  • Ensure the load is centered on the jack saddle. Off-center loads can cause instability.
  • Always use appropriate jack stands to support the vehicle immediately after lifting. Never rely solely on the jack to support a vehicle.
  • Keep hands and feet clear of the jack mechanism and the load during lifting and lowering.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses and gloves.
  • Do not modify the jack in any way. Use only genuine WINNTEC replacement parts.
  • Ensure the air supply is clean, dry, and regulated to the specified pressure range.
  • Inspect the jack before each use for any damage, leaks, or worn parts. Do not use if damaged.

2. Product Overview

3. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the jack from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Handle Assembly: Attach the operating handle securely to the jack according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure all fasteners are tightened.
  3. Air Supply Connection: Connect a clean, dry, regulated compressed air supply to the air inlet valve. The ideal working pressure is 7-12 BAR (100-170 PSI). Do not exceed the maximum recommended pressure.
  4. Purging Air System (Initial Use): Before first use, or if the jack has been stored for an extended period, it may be necessary to purge any air from the hydraulic system. Consult the manufacturer's specific instructions for this procedure, typically involving cycling the jack without a load.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Lifting a Load

  1. Prepare the Work Area: Ensure the work area is clear, well-lit, and on a hard, level surface. Block wheels of the vehicle not being lifted.
  2. Position the Jack: Roll the jack under the vehicle, positioning the saddle directly under the manufacturer's recommended lifting point. Ensure the jack is stable and not on an incline.
  3. Connect Air Supply: Ensure the air supply is connected and regulated to the correct pressure.
  4. Engage Lifting: Operate the control handle to initiate the lifting action. The jack will begin to raise the load. Monitor the lifting process carefully.
  5. Insert Jack Stands: Once the desired height is reached, immediately place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle's designated support points. Lower the vehicle slowly onto the jack stands.

4.2 Lowering a Load

  1. Raise Slightly: If the vehicle is resting on jack stands, slightly raise the vehicle with the jack to remove the load from the stands.
  2. Remove Jack Stands: Carefully remove the jack stands from under the vehicle.
  3. Lower the Load: Slowly operate the control handle to lower the jack. Control the descent speed to ensure a smooth and controlled lowering of the load.
  4. Remove Jack: Once the vehicle is fully lowered and stable on the ground, remove the jack.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your WINNTEC Air Service Jack.

  • Before Each Use:
    • Inspect for any visible damage, cracks, or leaks.
    • Check all connections and fasteners for tightness.
