Component Identification

- Light Button: Activates the EL backlight.

Setup
Initial Power On and Time Setting
- Power On: The watch is typically pre-activated. If the display is off, press any button to activate it.
- Enter Time Setting Mode: In Time Mode, press and hold the Mode button until the seconds begin to flash.
- Adjust Seconds: Press the Reset button to reset seconds to 00.
- Select Next Value: Press the Mode button to move to the next setting (e.g., hours, minutes, 12/24 hour format, year, month, day).
- Adjust Value: Use the Start button to increase the flashing value.
- Save Settings: Once all settings are adjusted, press the Mode button again to exit setting mode.
Connecting to Smartphone (Bluetooth)
To utilize smart functions like call/SMS reminders and activity tracking, connect your watch to your smartphone via Bluetooth.

- Download App: Scan the QR code in the watch's packaging or search for the official SKMEI app in your smartphone's app store (e.g., "SKMEI Smart Watch" or similar).
- Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Open App: Launch the downloaded app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or log in.
- Pair Device: Within the app, navigate to the device pairing section. The app will search for available watches. Select "SKM-1233" or a similar identifier.
- Confirm Pairing: Confirm the pairing request on both your phone and watch if prompted.
- Sync Data: Once connected, the watch will sync time and activity data with the app.
Operating Instructions
Time Mode
This is the default display mode, showing current time, day, and week.
- Press the Light button to illuminate the display for a few seconds.
- Press the Mode button to cycle through other modes.
Pedometer and Activity Tracking Mode
The watch automatically tracks steps, distance, and calories burned.
- From Time Mode, press the Mode button until you see the pedometer icon or step count display.
- The watch will continuously record your activity.
- To view detailed data or historical records, open the connected smartphone app.
Alarm Mode
- From Time Mode, press the Mode button repeatedly until you reach the Alarm Mode (indicated by an alarm icon).
- Press and hold the Start button to enter alarm setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
- Use the Start button to adjust the hour.
- Press the Mode button to move to minutes, then use the Start button to adjust.
- Press the Mode button again to toggle alarm ON/OFF.
- Press the Mode button to exit alarm setting.
Stopwatch Mode
- From Time Mode, press the Mode button repeatedly until you reach the Stopwatch Mode.
- Press the Start button to begin timing.
- Press the Start button again to pause timing.
- Press the Reset button to reset the stopwatch to zero.
- To resume from a paused state, press the Start button.
Call/SMS Reminder
When connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, the watch will vibrate and display an icon for incoming calls or messages (SMS, social media notifications).
- Ensure Bluetooth is active on both the watch and your phone.
- Ensure the SKMEI app is running in the background and has necessary notification permissions.
- The watch will provide a visual and vibratory alert for notifications.
Maintenance
Water Resistance

- Do NOT press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water.
- Do NOT expose the watch to hot water or steam (e.g., hot showers, saunas), as this can compromise the water seals.
- After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly.
Cleaning
Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
