  • Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapors in this appliance.
  • Always use oven mitts when handling hot dishes from the microwave.
  • Do not heat liquids or other foods in sealed containers since they are liable to explode.
  • Never use metal utensils or foil in the microwave oven, as this can cause arcing and damage the appliance.

Setup and Installation

Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the microwave oven and all packing materials from the carton.

  3. Remove any protective film from the surface of the cabinet and door.

Placement

  • Place the oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven.
  • Allow at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space above the oven, 10 cm (4 inches) at the rear, and 5 cm (2 inches) on both sides for proper ventilation.
  • Do not place the oven near heat sources such as a stove or radiator.
  • Ensure the power cord is easily accessible and not pinched or tangled.

Electrical Connection

  • Plug the oven into a properly installed and grounded wall outlet.
  • Ensure the voltage and frequency of the power supply match the specifications on the oven's rating label.
  • Do not use extension cords or adapters with this appliance.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The control panel features a digital display, various function buttons, and a rotary dial. Familiarize yourself with the layout before operation.

  • Display: Shows time, power level, and cooking status.
  • Power Level Buttons: Adjust microwave power from 1 to 10.
  • Grill Button: Activates the grill function.
  • Defrost Button: Selects defrost mode.
  • Time/Weight Dial: Used to set cooking time or defrost weight.
  • Start Button: Begins the cooking process.
  • Stop/Clear Button: Stops cooking or clears settings.

Basic Microwave Cooking

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe dish on the glass turntable.
  2. Close the oven door securely.
  3. Select the desired power level using the power buttons.
  4. Turn the Time/Weight dial to set the cooking time.
  5. Press the Start button to begin cooking.

Grill Function

  1. Place food on the grill rack within a heat-resistant dish.
  2. Press the Grill button.
  3. Set the grilling time using the Time/Weight dial.
  4. Press the Start button.

Defrosting

The oven offers defrosting by weight or by time.

  • Defrost by Weight: Press the Defrost button, then use the Time/Weight dial to select the weight of the food. The oven will automatically calculate the defrosting time.
  • Defrost by Time: Press the Defrost button multiple times until the time defrost mode is selected, then use the Time/Weight dial to set the desired defrosting time.

Press Start to begin defrosting.

Power Levels

The microwave offers 10 power levels for various cooking needs:

  • P100 (High): For boiling water, cooking fresh vegetables.
  • P90-P70 (Medium-High): For general cooking, reheating.
  • P60-P40 (Medium): For baking, simmering, slow cooking.
  • P30-P10 (Low/Warm): For softening butter, keeping food warm, gentle defrosting.

Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your microwave oven.

Cleaning the Interior

  • After each use, wipe the interior with a damp cloth to remove any food splatters.
  • For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with lemon slices inside and microwave for 2-3 minutes. The steam will loosen the grime, making it easier to wipe away.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal brushes, as they can scratch the interior surface.

Cleaning the Exterior

  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For a metallic finish, use a stainless steel cleaner if necessary, following the product instructions.
  • Ensure no water seeps into the ventilation openings.

Turntable Care

  • The glass turntable and turntable support can be removed for cleaning.
  • Wash them in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher.
  • Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
