6.1 Cleaning the Device
Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the device, especially the touchscreen. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays, as these can damage the surface or internal components.
6.2 Battery Care
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) as this can degrade battery performance and lifespan.
- For long-term storage, charge the device to approximately 50% and store it in a cool, dry place.
- While the device supports USB-C charging, charging directly from a computer's USB port is recommended for optimal battery health over prolonged use, compared to high-power wall adapters or car chargers.
6.3 Firmware Updates
FiiO periodically releases firmware updates to improve performance, add features, or fix bugs. Check the official FiiO website for the latest firmware and follow their instructions for updating your device. Keeping your firmware updated can enhance the user interface speed and overall functionality.
7. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
- Screen unresponsive or frozen: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 10 seconds to force a restart.
- No sound: Check headphone connection, ensure volume is not muted or too low. Verify that the audio files are not corrupted.
- Cannot transfer files: Ensure the M3 Pro is connected to the computer in "Storage" mode. Check USB cable and port.
- MicroSD card not recognized: Ensure the card is properly inserted. Try re-inserting or using a different MicroSD card to rule out card issues.
- Poor sound quality: Ensure your audio files are of high quality. Check headphone connection. Consider updating firmware.
- Battery drains quickly: Reduce screen brightness, close unused applications, or ensure the device is fully charged before use. Charging from a computer's USB port is recommended.
