Designed for comfort and efficiency, it features an ergonomic design, adjustable DPI settings, and an intelligent power-saving mode. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new mouse.

Specifications

Setup

Your MMK mouse supports two connection modes: 2.4GHz USB and Bluetooth 5.0. Please choose the mode that best suits your device.

2.4GHz USB Connection

1. Locate the USB receiver. It is typically stored in a compartment on the underside of the mouse.
2. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "2.4G" position.
3. Insert the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer or laptop.
4. The mouse will automatically connect. No additional drivers are usually required.

Bluetooth 5.0 Connection

1. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "BT 5.0" position.
2. On your device (laptop, PC, Mac, iPad, Android tablet), go to Bluetooth settings.
3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
4. The mouse will enter pairing mode (indicated by a blinking LED light).
5. Search for new Bluetooth devices and select "MMK Mouse" (or similar name) from the list.
6. Once paired, the LED light on the mouse will become solid, indicating a successful connection.

Note: You cannot use Bluetooth mode and 2.4G mode simultaneously. Switch between modes as needed for different devices.

Operating

DPI Adjustment

The mouse features adjustable DPI (Dots Per Inch) settings, allowing you to change the cursor speed to suit your preference for work or learning. To adjust the DPI:

• Press the DPI button located on the top of the mouse, usually behind the scroll wheel.
• Each press will cycle through the available DPI settings (e.g., 1000 DPI, 1200 DPI, 1600 DPI).
• Observe the cursor speed on your screen to find your preferred setting.

Auto Energy-Saving Sleep Mode

To conserve battery life, the mouse is equipped with an automatic energy-saving sleep mode:

• The mouse will automatically switch off if your PC is turned off or the receiver is disconnected.
• If the mouse is not used for 10 minutes, it will enter sleep mode.
• To reactivate the mouse from sleep mode, simply click any button.

Maintenance

Charging the Mouse

The MMK mouse has a built-in rechargeable battery. To charge the mouse:

• Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the front of the mouse.
• Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
• An indicator light on the mouse will typically illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.

Cleaning and Storage

• To clean the mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Store the mouse in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• When not in use for extended periods, ensure the mouse is fully charged before storing to maintain battery health.

Troubleshooting

• Mouse not responding:
  - Ensure the mouse is charged. Connect it to a power source using the provided USB cable.
  - Check the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to ensure it's set to the correct connection mode (2.4G or BT 5.0).
  - For 2.4G mode, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port.
  - For Bluetooth mode, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is paired. Try unpairing and re-pairing the mouse.
• Cursor movement is erratic or slow:
  - Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse with a soft, dry cloth.
  - Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface. Avoid highly reflective or transparent surfaces.
  - Adjust the DPI setting using the DPI button on the mouse.
• Cannot connect via Bluetooth:
  - Ensure your device's Bluetooth version is 4.0 or higher.
  - Make sure the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode (blinking LED).
  - Remove any previous pairings of the mouse from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
  - Restart your device and the mouse.
• Battery not holding charge:
  - Ensure you are using the original charging cable or a compatible one.
  - Try charging from a different USB port or power adapter.
  - If the issue persists, contact customer support.
