Safety Information

• The mattress used with this crib must be at least 27 1/4 inches (69 cm) by 51 5/8 inches (131 cm) with a thickness not exceeding 6 inches (15 cm).
• To prevent falls, when the child is able to pull to a standing position, set the mattress to the lowest position.
• When the child is able to climb out, the crib shall no longer be used for that child.
• Do not place the crib near a window where cords from blinds or drapes could strangle a child.
• Do not place items with a string or cord around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over a crib or attach strings to toys.
• Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as mattress covers because they can cause suffocation.
• Infants can suffocate on soft bedding. Never add a pillow, comforter, or additional padding.
• Never use this crib for an infant who cannot hold their head up unassisted.

Operating Instructions: Mattress Height Adjustment

The Child Craft Rylan Crib features a metal mattress support with 3 adjustable positions to accommodate your child's growth.

• Highest Position: For newborns and infants who cannot push up on their hands and knees. This position allows easier access to your baby.
• Middle Position: For infants who can push up on their hands and knees but cannot yet pull themselves to a standing position.
• Lowest Position: For children who can pull themselves to a standing position. This position helps prevent the child from climbing out of the crib.

To adjust the mattress height, remove the mattress and carefully detach the mattress support from the side rails. Reattach the support at the desired height, ensuring all fasteners are securely tightened before placing the mattress back into the crib.

Conversion Instructions

1. Toddler Bed Conversion

To convert the crib into a toddler bed, you will need the Child Craft Toddler Guard Rail (Model #F09501), sold separately.

1. Remove one of the crib's side rails.
2. Attach the toddler guard rail to the headboard and footboard in place of the removed side rail, following the instructions provided with the guard rail.
3. Ensure all connections are secure.

2. Day Bed Conversion

To convert the crib into a day bed, no additional parts are required.

1. Remove one of the crib's side rails completely.

3. Full-Size Bed Conversion
