5.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
- Verify that your cabinet dimensions are suitable (minimum 40 cm width).
- Ensure all necessary tools are available (jigsaw, drill, sealant, measuring tape, etc.).
- Confirm all components listed in "What's in the Box" are present and undamaged.
5.2 Installation Steps
- Prepare the Countertop: Use the provided template to mark the cutout area on your countertop. Carefully cut the opening using a jigsaw. Ensure the edges are smooth.
- Drill Faucet Holes: The sink features pre-drilled openings for the faucet and two pre-milled holes for accessories like a soap dispenser or siphon knob. Carefully drill these holes as needed.
- Install Faucet and Accessories: Mount your chosen kitchen faucet and any additional accessories (e.g., soap dispenser) onto the sink before placing it into the countertop.
- Apply Sealant: Apply a bead of silicone sealant around the edge of the countertop cutout to create a watertight seal.
- Place the Sink: Carefully lower the sink into the prepared cutout. Press down firmly to ensure good contact with the sealant.
- Secure the Sink: Use the included mounting clips (if applicable) to secure the sink to the underside of the countertop. Tighten evenly.
- Connect Drainage System: Assemble the space-saving drainage system according to the diagram (Figure 2). Connect the sink drain to the siphon and then to your household plumbing. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. The system includes an additional connection for a washing machine or dishwasher.
- Connect Water Supply: Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to your faucet.
- Test for Leaks: Turn on the water supply and check all connections for leaks. Run water into the sink and observe the drainage.

7.1 Daily Cleaning
- After each use, rinse the sink thoroughly with water to remove food particles and residue.
- Wipe the sink surface with a soft cloth or sponge and mild dish soap.
- For best results, dry the sink with a clean cloth to prevent water spots, especially in hard water areas.
7.2 Deep Cleaning and Stain Removal
- For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for granite or composite sinks.
- Avoid using abrasive pads, steel wool, strong acids, or alkaline cleaners, as these can damage the surface.

8. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your PRIMAGRAN Riga Easy sink.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Water leaks from connections | Loose connections in the drainage system or water supply lines. | Tighten all connections. If leaks persist, check for damaged seals or pipes and replace if necessary. |
| Slow drainage or blockage | Food particles or grease buildup in the drain or siphon. | Clear the strainer basket. Use the EASY CLEAN system to access and clean the siphon. Avoid pouring grease down the drain. |
| Water spots or mineral buildup | Hard water residue left on the surface after drying. | Wipe the sink dry after each use. For existing buildup, use a mild descaling solution or a mixture of vinegar and water, then rinse thoroughly. |
| Surface discoloration | Exposure to strong staining agents (e.g., coffee, wine) or improper cleaning. | Clean immediately after spills. Use a non-abrasive granite cleaner or baking soda paste for persistent stains. |
