Setup

1. Battery Installation

The scale requires one CR2032 button cell battery (included). To install or replace the battery:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing upwards.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

If the scale displays a 'Lo' or 'Err' message, the battery may be low and requires replacement.

2. Initial Placement

Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Uneven surfaces can affect measurement precision.

Operating Instructions

1. Turning On/Off

• To turn on the scale, press the ON/OFF/TARE button. The display will show '0' or '0.0'.
• To turn off the scale, press and hold the ON/OFF/TARE button for a few seconds. The scale will also automatically shut off after 2 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.

2. Unit Conversion

The scale can measure in multiple units. To switch between units:

• With the scale on, press the UNIT button.
• Each press will cycle through the available units: grams (g), pounds and ounces (lb:oz), fluid ounces (fl.oz), and milliliters (ml).

The scale allows quick conversion between multiple units of measurement.

3. Tare Function

The tare function allows you to weigh ingredients in a container by subtracting the container's weight. This is useful for measuring multiple ingredients in the same bowl.

1. Place an empty container on the scale. The display will show the container's weight.
2. Press the ON/OFF/TARE button. The display will reset to '0'.
3. Add your ingredients to the container. The display will now show only the weight of the added ingredients.
4. Repeat the tare process for additional ingredients if needed.

4. Weighing Items

Ensure the scale is on and displaying '0'. Carefully place the item(s) to be weighed onto the center of the scale platform. The weight will be displayed on the LCD screen.

Maintenance

Cleaning

The scale features an easy-to-clean surface. To clean:

• Wipe the scale surface with a soft, damp cloth.

Troubleshooting
