Setup and Assembly
The Mont Alpi MAi805-DFC outdoor kitchen island is designed for modular attachment, with main components arriving largely pre-assembled. Final assembly involves connecting these modules and preparing the unit for use.
Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully unpack all components and inspect for any shipping damage.
- Ensure the installation area is level and stable. The unit is equipped with gliding castor wheels for initial positioning, but it should be secured once in its final location.
- Refer to the dimensions diagram for space requirements.

Modular Attachment
Connect the individual modules (grill unit, side burner unit, refrigerator unit) according to the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure and stable.
Fuel Connection
The grill is designed for propane use and includes a propane hose and regulator. For natural gas conversion, a separate Mont Alpi Natural Gas Conversion Kit is required and sold separately. Follow the instructions provided with the conversion kit for safe installation.
Operating Instructions
Grill Operation
- The main grill features 6 tubular stainless steel high-efficiency burners.
- To ignite, ensure the gas supply is open. Push and turn a control knob to the 'High' position. The electronic ignition will spark to light the burner.
- Control knobs feature LED lights: blue when off, red when on, indicating active burners.
- The double-lined grill hood includes a temperature gauge for monitoring internal cooking temperature.
- Internal cooking lights provide visibility during evening use.

Infrared Side Burner
The infrared side burner is suitable for searing, pan-frying, or boiling. Operate it independently using its dedicated control knob.
Infrared Rear Burner and Rotisserie
- The infrared rear burner is designed for use with the rotisserie kit.
- Install the 120V 4-Watt heavy-duty electric motor rotisserie kit (included) according to its specific instructions. It can hold up to 25 lbs.
- Ensure the rotisserie motor is securely mounted and the spit rod is properly balanced before turning on the rear burner.
Refrigerator Operation
The outdoor-rated MAF refrigerator features 304 stainless steel construction and a glass door. It includes interior blue backlighting, temperature control, adjustable shelves, and a lockable door.
- Plug the refrigerator into a suitable 115V outdoor-rated electrical outlet.
- Adjust the internal temperature using the control dial located inside the unit.
- The shelves are adjustable to accommodate various item sizes.
- Use the provided key to lock the door for security.

Storage Drawers and Cabinets
The outdoor kitchen includes spacious storage drawers and cabinets for utensils and accessories. The drawers feature smooth gliding mechanisms.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning Stainless Steel Surfaces
- The unit is constructed from 304 marine-grade stainless steel, known for its durability and corrosion resistance.
- Clean stainless steel surfaces with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Always wipe in the direction of the grain to prevent streaking.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the surface.
Grease Tray Cleaning
The easy-access full front pull-out grease tray should be cleaned regularly to prevent grease buildup and potential flare-ups. Allow the grill to cool completely before removing and cleaning the tray.
Weather Protection
A water-resistant outdoor-rated weather cover is included to protect your grill from the elements when not in use. Ensure the grill is cool and clean before covering.
