Setup

Power Requirements

  • Stereo Output Effects Pedals Connection: For more complex setups, you can integrate other effects pedals. Connect your guitar to the L (Mono) input, then route the signal through other effects pedals before connecting to the L and R outputs for stereo amplification.

Operating Instructions

The JOYO Vision R-09 features two independent modulation channels, Mode A and Mode B, each with its own set of effects and controls. The pedal's intuitive layout allows for easy adjustment of various parameters to achieve desired tones.

Controls Overview

  • SPEED/RATE Knobs: Adjust the speed or rate of the selected modulation effect for both Mode A and Mode B.
  • CONTROL Knobs: Modify specific characteristics of the chosen effect within each mode.
  • DEPTH/MIX Knobs: Control the intensity or mix level of the effect with your dry signal.
  • TYPE A/TYPE B Switches: Select one of the 9 modulation effects available for each channel.
  • MODE A/MODE B Footswitches: Engage or bypass the respective modulation channel. Hold for Tap Tempo.
  • B+A / A+B / A&B Toggle Switch: Determines the signal flow and interaction between Mode A and Mode B effects.
    • B+A: Signal flows through Mode B, then Mode A.
    • A+B: Signal flows through Mode A, then Mode B.
    • A&B (Parallel): Signal flows through both Mode A and Mode B in parallel.

Adjusting Effects

Each channel (Mode A and Mode B) offers 9 distinct modulation effects. Use the TYPE A/TYPE B switches to select the desired effect. Then, fine-tune the sound using the SPEED/RATE, CONTROL, and DEPTH/MIX knobs for that specific effect.

Tap Tempo Functionality

The Tap Tempo function allows you to set the speed of certain effects by tapping the footswitch. To activate Tap Tempo, hold down the corresponding MODE A or MODE B footswitch. Then, tap the footswitch rhythmically to set the desired tempo.
