Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for examination, repair, or adjustment.

  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  • Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "OFF", then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
  • Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance during operation.
  • Do not cover the crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause the oven to overheat.

Setup and First Use

1. Unpacking:

  1. Carefully remove the OTG and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Remove any protective films, stickers, or packaging materials from the appliance.
  3. Inspect the appliance for any damage. Do not use if damaged.

2. Placement:

  1. Place the OTG on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
  2. Ensure there is at least 10-15 cm of clear space on all sides (back, top, and sides) for proper ventilation.
  3. Do not place the appliance near curtains, walls, or other flammable materials.
  4. Keep it away from water sources or damp areas.

3. Initial Cleaning:

  1. Wipe the interior and exterior of the OTG with a damp cloth.
  2. Wash the baking tray, grill rack, tong, crumb tray, and skewer rods in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

4. First Use (Burn-off):

  1. Before cooking food, operate the OTG empty for approximately 15 minutes to burn off any manufacturing residues.
  2. Set the temperature to 250°C and the function selector to "Both Elements". Set the timer to 15 minutes.
  3. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this initial operation; this is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

Control Panel Functions:

  • Temperature Knob: Adjusts the cooking temperature from 0°C to 250°C.
  • Function Selector Knob: Selects the heating mode:
    • OFF: Appliance is off.
    • Top Heating: Activates the upper heating elements (for grilling, browning).
    • Bottom Heating: Activates the lower heating elements (for baking bases).
    • Both Heating: Activates both upper and lower heating elements (for general baking, roasting).
  • Timer Knob: Sets the cooking time up to 60 minutes. The OTG will automatically shut off when the timer reaches zero. Turn to "Stay On" for continuous operation (monitor carefully).
  • Power Indicator Light: Illuminates when the OTG is operating.

General Cooking Steps:

  1. Place the grill rack or baking tray with food into the desired slot inside the OTG.
  2. Close the glass door securely.
  3. Turn the Temperature Knob to the desired cooking temperature.
  4. Turn the Function Selector Knob to the appropriate heating mode (e.g., "Both Heating" for baking).
  5. Turn the Timer Knob to the desired cooking time. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  6. When the set time elapses, the OTG will automatically switch off, and a bell will ring. If using "Stay On", manually turn the timer knob to "OFF" when cooking is complete.
  7. Carefully remove the cooked food using the provided tong or oven mitts.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your OTG.

  1. Always unplug the OTG from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
  3. Interior: The interior walls can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive cleaner designed for ovens can be used. Ensure all cleaning solution is wiped away.
  4. Crumb Tray: Pull out the crumb tray from the bottom of the OTG. Empty crumbs and wash the tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before replacing.
  5. Accessories: The baking tray, grill rack, and skewer rods can be washed in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry completely.
  6. Glass Door: Clean the glass door with a soft cloth and glass cleaner or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  7. Never immerse the main OTG unit in water or any other liquid.

Troubleshooting
