Operating the Hammer Drill

Mode Selection

The BEHS01K-QS offers three operating modes: Rotary Drilling, Hammer Drilling, and Chiseling.

  • Rotary Drilling (Drill Icon): For drilling in wood, metal, plastics, and other materials that do not require impact.
  • Hammer Drilling (Drill + Hammer Icon): For drilling in concrete, brick, and masonry. This mode combines rotation with impact action.
  • Chiseling (Hammer Icon): For light demolition work, chipping, and chiseling in concrete or masonry. The rotation is disengaged in this mode.

To select a mode, rotate the mode selector dial located on the side of the drill to the desired icon.
