  3. Assembly:

Operating Instructions

  1. Fill Water Tank: Open the lid and fill the water tank with clean water. Do not fill past the maximum fill line (approximately 3.5 liters). Close the lid securely.
  2. Prepare Fuel: Use small pieces of charcoal, firewood, or coal. Ensure the fuel pieces are small enough to fit into the combustion chamber (the central chimney).
  3. Load Fuel: Carefully place the prepared fuel into the combustion chamber. Do not overfill.
  4. Ignite Fuel: Using a long lighter or match, carefully ignite the fuel in the combustion chamber. Ensure good airflow for combustion.
  5. Heating Process: The water will begin to heat as the fuel burns. The chimney will direct smoke upwards. Water typically boils within 10-15 minutes, depending on fuel type and quantity.
  6. Dispensing Hot Water: Once the water is hot, place a cup or teapot under the hot water tap. Turn the tap handle to dispense water. Close the tap firmly after use.
  7. Maintaining Heat: To keep water hot for extended periods, periodically add small amounts of fuel to the combustion chamber.

Care and Maintenance

  • After Each Use: Allow the samovar to cool completely. Empty any remaining water and ash.
  • Cleaning: Wash the interior of the water tank and the tap with warm soapy water. Use a brush if necessary to remove any residue. Rinse thoroughly. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth.
  • Rust Prevention: To prevent rust, especially in the combustion chamber, ensure the samovar is completely dry before storage. Do not leave water inside the tank for extended periods.
  • Storage: Store the samovar in a dry place, away from moisture and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Water not heating efficiently. Insufficient fuel; poor airflow; wet fuel. Add more dry fuel; ensure combustion chamber vents are clear; use dry fuel.
Smoke escaping from places other than the chimney. Chimney not properly seated; blocked chimney. Re-seat the chimney securely; clean the chimney of any obstructions.
Water leaking from the combustion chamber. Internal seal issue; damage to the water tank. Discontinue use. Contact customer support for assistance.
Rust appearing inside the samovar. Water left in the tank; improper drying after cleaning. Ensure the samovar is completely emptied and dried after each use.
