Setup and Installation
The Nora M1 LED Series downlight is designed for easy installation in both remodel and new construction applications without the need for a separate housing.
- Prepare the Opening: Create a suitable opening in the ceiling or mounting surface. Refer to local building codes for exact dimensions. The fixture is designed for a 1-1/2" trim size.
- Connect Wiring: Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker. Connect the 6" quick connect cable from the LED module to the appropriate electrical wiring in the junction box. Follow all local electrical codes.
- Select Trim and Optic: Choose one of the four provided plastic trims (round or square, black or white) and one of the four optics based on your desired aesthetic and beam spread.
- Attach Trim and Optic: Securely attach the selected optic and trim to the LED module. Ensure they are properly seated.
- Insert Fixture: Gently push the assembled LED downlight into the prepared opening until the trim sits flush with the ceiling surface. The spring clips will hold the fixture in place.
- Restore Power: Once the fixture is securely installed, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions
The Nora M1 LED Series downlight operates like a standard light fixture once installed. It is designed for dimmable functionality.
- Power On/Off: Use a standard wall switch to turn the light fixture on or off.
- Dimming: This fixture is compatible with Triac or ELV (Electronic Low Voltage) dimmers. For optimal performance, use a dimmer switch specifically designed for LED lighting. Consult the dimmer manufacturer's instructions for proper installation and operation.
Maintenance
The Nora M1 LED Series downlight requires minimal maintenance.

- LED Module: The integrated LED module is not user-serviceable. Do not attempt to open or replace the LED components.
