Setup and Installation

The key safe is designed for wall mounting. Choose a discreet yet accessible location, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

2. Mark Drilling Points: Hold the key safe against the wall at the desired height and mark the positions for the mounting holes.

4. Insert Wall Plugs: Insert the provided wall plugs into the drilled holes.

Setting and Changing the Combination Code

The key safe comes with a default combination (usually 0-0-0-0). It is highly recommended to change this immediately to a personal code.

1. Open the Key Safe: Enter the current combination (default 0-0-0-0) and turn the knob to open the safe door.

2. Locate the Reset Lever: Inside the open door, find the reset lever. It will typically be labeled 'A' and 'B'.
3. Move the Lever: Push the lever from position 'A' to position 'B'.
4. Set New Combination: While the lever is in position 'B', rotate the number dials to your desired 4-digit combination. Choose a memorable but secure code.
5. Return the Lever: Push the lever back from position 'B' to position 'A'.
6. Test the New Code: Close the safe door, scramble the dials, and then try to open it with your new combination to ensure it works correctly.
