Setup
1. Inserting Batteries
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the side of the camera.
- Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Loading Film
- Open the film compartment cover on the back of the camera.
- Align the yellow mark on the film pack with the yellow mark on the camera.
- Insert the film pack straight into the compartment. Do not press down on the film pack.
- Close the film compartment cover. The film counter will display 'S' (Start) and then '10' after the first dark slide is ejected.

Operating the Camera
1. Turning On/Off
- To turn on: Press the power button located next to the lens. The lens will extend, and the flash lamp will light up.
- To turn off: Push the extended lens back into the camera body.
2. Taking a Photo
- Hold the camera firmly and frame your shot using the viewfinder.
- Press the shutter button. The camera's automatic exposure function will adjust the flash and shutter speed for optimal brightness.
- The printed photo will eject from the top slot. Allow the photo to develop naturally; do not shake or bend it.
3. Selfie Mode
- With the camera turned on, pull the front edge of the lens barrel outwards until the 'SELFIE ON' mark appears. This activates macro mode for close-up shots.
- Use the small mirror next to the lens to check your framing for selfies.
- Hold the camera at arm's length and press the shutter button.

Maintenance
- Keep the camera clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the camera yourself. Contact authorized service personnel.
- Store film packs in a cool, dry place and use them before their expiration date.
Troubleshooting
- Camera does not turn on: Check if batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Replace with new AA batteries if necessary.
- Film does not eject: Ensure a film pack is loaded correctly and that the film counter is not '0'.
- Photos are too dark/light: The Instax Mini 11 features automatic exposure. Ensure the flash is not obstructed and that you are shooting within appropriate lighting conditions.
- Blurred photos: Hold the camera steady when taking a picture. In selfie mode, ensure you are within the recommended close-up range.
