1. Introduction

The Blackburn Luminate 360 Bike Light Set is designed to enhance cyclist visibility from all angles. This system includes a front light, a rear light, and a grid side beacon, working together to provide 360-degree visibility. The Dayblazer 400 front light and the 65 rear light feature a Blitz mode for increased daytime and nighttime visibility. The grid side beacon further contributes to side visibility, which is crucial for safety, particularly in intersections.

2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Lights

All lights in the Luminate 360 set are powered by rechargeable lithium polymer batteries. Before first use, fully charge each light.

1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on each light.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a powered USB port (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will change color or turn off when charging is complete.

4.2 Mounting the Lights

Securely mount each light to your bicycle using the appropriate hardware.

• Front Light: Attach the Dayblazer 400 to your handlebar using the handlebar mount. Ensure it is centered and angled correctly to illuminate the path ahead without blinding oncoming traffic.
• Rear Light: Attach the 65 Rear Light to your seatpost or seat stay. Ensure it is visible from behind and not obstructed by bags or clothing.
• Side Beacon: Mount the Grid Side Beacon to a suitable location on your frame or fork, ensuring it provides maximum side visibility.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

To turn on or off any light, press and hold the power button for approximately 1-2 seconds.

5.2 Changing Modes

Once a light is on, press the power button briefly to cycle through the available modes.

• Dayblazer 400 Front Light Modes: Blitz (400 Lumens), Low (200 Lumens), Pulse, Strobe.
• Grid Side Beacon Modes: High Solid (85 Lumens), Low Solid (50 Lumens), High Flash, Low Strobe.
• 65 Rear Light Modes: Solid (65 Lumens), High Flash, Low Strobe (35 Lumens).

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the lights with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

6.2 Battery Care

• Charge the lights regularly, even if not used frequently, to maintain battery health.
• Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.
• If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% and store in a cool, dry place.

6.3 Storage

Store the lights in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

• Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a USB power source and check the charging indicator.
• Light flickering or dim: The battery may be low. Recharge the light. Check for any loose connections if applicable.
