Safety Information

  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Ensure the lantern is turned off.
  2. Locate the base of the lantern.
  3. Twist the base counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
  4. Insert 6 D-cell batteries into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  5. Replace the base by aligning the tabs and twisting clockwise until securely locked.

Operation

Power On/Off and Brightness Modes

  1. Press the power button once to turn the lantern on to its High brightness setting.
  2. Press the power button a second time for Medium brightness.
  3. Press the power button a third time for Low brightness.
  4. Press the power button a fourth time to turn the lantern off.

Using the USB Charging Port

  1. Locate the USB-A output port on the side of the lantern.
  2. Connect your mobile device's charging cable to the USB-A port on the lantern.
  3. Connect the other end of the cable to your mobile device.
  4. The lantern will begin charging your device. Note that the lantern must have sufficient battery power to charge external devices.

Carabiner Handle Usage

The integrated carabiner handle allows for versatile placement. Open the carabiner clip by pressing the spring-loaded gate, attach it to a hook, branch, or rope, and release the gate to secure the lantern.

Maintenance
