1. Introduction

The WORX GT Revolution is a versatile 3-in-1 tool designed to simplify your lawn care. It seamlessly transforms from a precision string trimmer to a powerful in-line wheeled edger and a nimble mini-mower. This cordless tool, powered by a 20V Power Share battery, offers convenience, comfort, and efficiency for maintaining your yard.

2. Safety Information

4. Setup

The WORX GT Revolution is designed for quick and easy assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your tool for use:

  1. Attach the Trimmer Line Guard: Slide the guard into its designated slot until it clicks into place. Secure it with the provided screw using a small Phillips head screwdriver.
  2. Install Guide Wheels: The edger guide wheels simply slide onto one of the two pre-installed small brackets on the trimmer head. Ensure they are securely attached.
  3. Insert Battery: Align the 20V Power Share battery with the battery slot on the tool handle and slide it in until it locks securely.
  4. Store Extra Spool: Attach one of the spare spools to the pre-installed spool holder on the main shaft for convenient access during operation.

5. Operating Instructions

The WORX GT Revolution offers three distinct modes for comprehensive lawn care:

5.1. General Operation

  • To start the tool, press the safety lock-off button and then squeeze the trigger.
  • To stop the tool, release the trigger.

5.2. Trimmer Mode

Use this mode for trimming grass and weeds around obstacles, fences, and garden beds.

  • Hold the trimmer comfortably with both hands.
  • Maintain a slight angle to the ground, allowing the cutting line to do the work.
  • Move the trimmer in a sweeping motion, cutting small amounts of grass at a time.

5.3. Edger Mode

Convert the tool to edger mode for clean, precise edges along sidewalks, driveways, and flower beds.

  • To convert, press the orange button near the head and rotate the head 90 degrees until it locks into the edging position.
  • The edger wheels provide stability and guide the tool along the edge.
  • An arrow on the tool indicates the exact cutting line for accurate edging.

5.4. Mini-Mower Mode

For small areas or uneven terrain where a traditional mower cannot reach, the mini-mower mode is ideal.

  • Similar to edger mode, rotate the head to the desired angle for mini-mowing.
  • Use the support wheels to glide the tool over the grass, providing an even cut.

5.5. Command Feed System

The proprietary Command Feed system allows for automatic line advancement with the push of a button.

  • When more line is needed, simply press the Command Feed button located on the handle.
  • The tool will briefly stop, advance the line, and then resume operation when the trigger is pressed again.

5.6. Adjustments

  • Handle Adjustment: The tool features 7 handle adjustments to suit various user heights and preferences, ensuring comfortable operation.
  • Rotating Head Settings: The cutting head has 6 rotating settings, allowing you to adjust the angle for different trimming, edging, and mowing tasks, including hard-to-reach areas.

  • Charging Time: A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours using the included 2A charger.
  • Runtime: The 4.0 Ah battery provides significant runtime, often exceeding an hour, allowing users to complete tasks for areas up to half an acre on a single charge.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your WORX GT Revolution.

  • Cleaning: After each use, remove the battery and clean the tool, especially the cutting head, guard, and wheels, from grass clippings and debris. Use a damp cloth; do not use harsh chemicals or immerse the tool in water.
  • Line Spool Replacement: When the cutting line runs out, replace the spool. To do this, remove the old spool by pressing the tabs on the spool cap and lifting it off. Insert a new pre-wound spool, ensuring the line is threaded through the eyelet, and then replace the cap.
  • Storage: Store the tool in a dry, secure place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is removed for long-term storage.

8. Troubleshooting
