4. Product Overview

5. Setup
- Unpack: Remove all components from the packaging.
- Clean: Before first use, clean all parts that will come into contact with milk or food according to the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section.
- Placement: Place the main unit on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Connect: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The appliance is now ready for use.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Warming Milk or Food
- Place the bottle or food jar into the bottle basket.
- Pour the appropriate amount of clean water into the heating chamber. Refer to the measuring cup for guidance. The water level should be below the rim of the bottle/jar and cover the milk/food level.
- Place the bottle basket with the bottle/jar into the heating chamber.
- Press the power button to turn on the appliance.
- Select the warming mode (e.g., milk warming or food warming) using the mode button. The appliance is designed to heat to approximately 37 degrees Celsius for milk.
- The appliance will begin heating. A light indicator or display will show the progress.
- Once warming is complete (approximately 8 minutes for milk, depending on volume and starting temperature), carefully remove the bottle basket using the tongs provided.
- Always shake the bottle gently to distribute heat evenly and check the temperature of the milk or food on your wrist before feeding your baby.
6.2. Sterilizing a Single Bottle
This function is suitable for sterilizing a single baby bottle and its components.
- Ensure the bottle and its components (teat, ring, cap) are thoroughly cleaned before sterilizing.
- Place the disassembled bottle components into the bottle basket.
- Pour approximately 100ml of clean water into the heating chamber using the measuring cup.
- Place the bottle basket with components into the heating chamber.
- Place the sterilizer lid securely over the main unit.
- Press the power button and select the sterilizing mode.
- The appliance will generate steam to sterilize the items. This process typically takes a few minutes.
- Once the cycle is complete, the appliance will switch off or indicate completion. Allow the unit to cool down before opening the lid.
- Carefully remove the sterilized items using the tongs to avoid contamination and burns.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely.
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Heating Chamber: After each use, empty any remaining water. To remove mineral deposits (limescale), mix 50ml of white vinegar with 100ml of cold water and pour into the heating chamber. Let it stand for 30 minutes, then pour out the solution. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not scrub with abrasive materials.
- Accessories: The bottle basket, measuring cup, tongs, and sterilizer lid can be washed in warm soapy water and rinsed thoroughly, or placed in the top rack of a dishwasher.
- Storage: Store the clean and dry appliance in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.
8. Troubleshooting
- Appliance does not turn on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into the wall outlet and the appliance.
- Ensure the wall outlet is functioning correctly by testing it with another appliance.
- Milk/Food not warming sufficiently:
- Ensure enough water has been added to the heating chamber.
- Verify that the correct warming mode has been selected.
- The starting temperature of the milk/food and the volume can affect warming time. Allow more time for larger volumes or colder starting temperatures.
- Sterilization cycle seems too short/long:
- Ensure the correct amount of water (approx. 100ml) is used for sterilization.
- Make sure the sterilizer lid is properly seated.
- Limescale buildup:
- Refer to the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section for descaling instructions. Regular descaling is important, especially in hard water areas.
