5. Setup
5.1. Hardware Connection
- Connect the DSL cable from your wall DSL jack to the DSL port on the router.
- Connect one end of the provided Ethernet cable to a LAN port on the router and the other end to the Ethernet port of your computer.
- Connect the power adapter to the router's power port and plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.
- Wait for the Power, DSL, and Internet LEDs to become stable, indicating a successful connection.
5.2. Configure via Web Browser
- Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge) on the computer connected to the router.
- Type the default access address (usually mwlogin.net or 192.168.1.1) into the address bar and press Enter.
- Create a login password when prompted.
- Follow the on-screen Quick Setup Wizard to configure your internet connection and wireless settings. You will typically need your ISP-provided DSL username and password.
6. Operating
6.1. Wireless Network Configuration
To change your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) or password:
- Log in to the router's web management page.
- Navigate to the 'Wireless' or 'Wi-Fi' settings.
- Modify the SSID and Wireless Password fields.
- Save your changes. Your devices will need to reconnect using the new password.
