3.3 Attaching Hanging Hardware

The frame comes with a wire hanging set for wall mounting.

  1. Locate the two D-rings and screws from the hanging set.
  2. Measure approximately one-third of the way down from the top of the frame on each side. Mark these points on the back of the frame's vertical rails.
  3. Screw the D-rings securely into the marked points on the frame rails. Ensure they are aligned horizontally.
  4. Thread the hanging wire through both D-rings and twist the ends to secure it, creating a loop. Ensure the wire is taut but allows for a slight curve when hanging.

3.4 Wall Mounting

  1. Determine the desired location on your wall for the frame.
  2. Using the included picture hook and a hammer, carefully install the hook into the wall at the desired height. Ensure it is level and securely fastened. For heavier frames or plaster walls, consider using appropriate wall anchors (not included).
  3. Hang the frame by placing the wire onto the picture hook.
  4. Adjust the frame until it hangs level.

4. Operating Instructions

Once your artwork or photo is securely placed within the frame and the frame is mounted, it is ready for display. The frame is designed for stationary display on a wall.

4.1 Changing Artwork

To change the artwork, follow the steps in Section 3.2 (Inserting Your Artwork/Photo) in reverse order to remove the current content, then insert the new artwork and re-secure the backing.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Frame

To clean the wood frame, gently wipe it with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed immediately by a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.

5.2 Cleaning the Economy Acrylic

The economy acrylic glazing can be cleaned with a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild acrylic cleaner or a solution of mild soap and water. Do not use glass cleaners containing ammonia, as these can damage acrylic. Wipe gently to avoid scratching.

5.3 Dusting

Regularly dust the frame and acrylic with a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster to prevent dust buildup.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Artwork Does Not Fit: Ensure your artwork measures exactly 30x30 inches. If it is slightly larger, it may need to be trimmed. If it is smaller, you may consider using a mat (not included) to fill the space.
  • Frame Appears Damaged: If the frame or acrylic arrived damaged, please refer to the warranty information in Section 7. Save all original packaging for any claims.
  • Frame Not Hanging Straight: Check that the D-rings are installed at equal heights on the back of the frame and that the picture hook on the wall is level. Adjust as necessary.
  • Acrylic Appears Scratched or Cloudy: Ensure all protective films have been removed from both sides of the economy acrylic. If scratches are present upon arrival, refer to the warranty information.
