Setup and Installation
1. Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tail cap of the weapon light by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert the included 3.7V Li-ion battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the light.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened. Ensure the O-ring is properly seated to maintain water resistance.
2. Attaching the Weapon Mount
- Identify the appropriate rail or mounting point on your weapon.
- Loosen the screws on the weapon mount.
- Position the weapon light into the mount.
- Secure the mount to your weapon's rail, then tighten the screws firmly to prevent movement during use.
3. Connecting the Remote Pressure Switch (Optional)
- Unscrew the standard tail cap from the weapon light.
- Screw on the remote pressure switch tail cap in its place, turning clockwise until secure.
- Route the pressure pad cable to a convenient location on your weapon for easy access during operation. Use cable management clips if necessary (not included).
Operation
Using the Standard Tail Cap Switch
- Momentary On: Lightly press the button on the tail cap. The light will turn on as long as the button is held. Release to turn off.
- Constant On/Off: Fully press the button until it clicks. The light will remain on. Press again until it clicks to turn off.
Using the Remote Pressure Switch
- The remote pressure switch typically offers two functions: momentary on and constant on.
- Momentary On: Press and hold the pressure pad. Release to turn off.
- Constant On/Off: Press the dedicated constant-on button (if present on your remote switch) or double-tap the pressure pad quickly (functionality may vary by specific remote switch design).
Note: The remote pressure switch provides IPX6 water resistance, while the standard tail cap provides IPX7 water resistance. Choose the appropriate tail cap based on your environmental needs.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the light with a clean, soft cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- O-Rings: Periodically inspect the O-rings for wear or damage. Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to maintain water resistance. Replace O-rings if damaged.
- Battery Care:
- Remove the battery if the light will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
- Dispose of depleted batteries according to local regulations.
- Storage: Store the weapon light in a dry, cool environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
