3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your HENDUN Pool Gate Alarm:

1. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the main alarm unit and insert 4 AAA batteries. Ensure correct polarity. The remote control comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery.
2. Mounting Location: Choose a clean, dry, and flat surface on your door or gate frame. The main alarm unit and the magnetic sensor bar must be mounted close to each other, with their alignment arrows facing each other and a gap of no more than 0.5 inches (1.27 cm) when the door/gate is closed.
3. Installation Method:
   • Adhesive Mounting: Clean the mounting surfaces thoroughly. Apply the adhesive pads to the back of the main unit and the magnetic sensor. Press firmly onto the desired location.
   • Screw Mounting: Use the provided screws and wall anchors to secure the mounting bracket to the door/gate frame. Then, slide the main alarm unit onto the bracket until it clicks into place. Secure the magnetic sensor using screws or adhesive.
4. Alignment: Ensure the arrows on the main unit and the magnetic sensor are perfectly aligned when the door/gate is closed. Misalignment will prevent proper function.
