1. Introduction

3. Product Variants

• Type A-A: Features a USB Type A Male connector on one end and a USB Type A Female connector on the other.
• Type C-A: Features a USB Type C Male connector on one end and a USB Type A Female connector on the other. This is the model covered by this manual.
• Type C-C: Features a USB Type C Male connector on one end and a USB Type C Female connector on the other.

4. Setup

4.1 Connecting to a Personal Computer (PC)

To integrate the iSilencer+ into your PC audio setup, follow these steps:

1. Identify an available USB port on your computer.
2. Connect the USB Type C Male end of the iSilencer+ (C > A) directly into the computer's USB-C port.
3. Connect your USB DAC or other USB audio device to the USB Type A Female port of the iSilencer+.
4. Ensure all connections are secure. The iSilencer+ will begin to process the USB audio signal automatically.

4.2 Connecting to a Phone (iPhone/Android)

For mobile device integration, additional adapters or cables may be required depending on your phone's connector type and the DAC you are using.

For iPhone:

1. Connect your hip-dac (or similar portable DAC) to the iSilencer+ (Type A-A model recommended for this configuration, or use a C-A model with an appropriate adapter).
2. Connect a Camera Connection Kit (CCK) cable to the iSilencer+.
3. Connect the CCK cable to your iPhone.

For Android Phone:

1. Connect your hip-dac (or similar portable DAC) to an OTG C cable.
2. Connect the OTG C cable to the iSilencer+ (Type C-C model recommended for this configuration).
3. Connect the iSilencer+ to your Android phone.

5. Operating Instructions

The iFi iSilencer+ is a plug-and-play device. Once connected as described in the setup section, it operates automatically. There are no user-adjustable settings or controls.

• Power Indicator: A gentle red glow from the connection LED on the device indicates that the iSilencer+ is active and functioning.
• Optimal Performance: For best results, ensure the iSilencer+ is connected directly to the source USB port (e.g., computer) before any other USB audio devices or hubs.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your iFi iSilencer+:
