Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and cleanliness of your shower caddy, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Regular Cleaning: Wipe down the shelves and pole regularly with a mild soap and water solution. Rinse thoroughly to prevent soap scum buildup.
  • Rust-Proof Design: The caddy is made from rust-proof aluminum and durable plastic, minimizing the need for rust removal. However, regular cleaning helps maintain its appearance.
  • Drainage: The shelves are designed with drainage holes to prevent water accumulation and inhibit mold or mildew growth. Ensure these holes remain clear.
  • Check Stability: Periodically check the tension pole to ensure it remains firmly secured between the ceiling and floor. Adjust if necessary.

Troubleshooting

  • Caddy is not stable: Ensure the tension pole is fully extended and firmly pressed against both the ceiling and floor. The spring mechanism should provide adequate pressure. Re-adjust the pole if it feels loose.
  • Shelves are slipping: Make sure the rubber rings or locking mechanisms for each shelf are properly engaged and tightened. If the rings are worn, they may need replacement.
  • Water accumulation on shelves: Check that the drainage holes on each shelf are not blocked by soap residue or debris. Clean them as part of routine maintenance.
