Safety Information

Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 x C batteries (not included) according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
- To turn on the scale, press the ON/OFF button. The display will show "8888" and then "0g" or "0oz".
- To turn off the scale, press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale will also automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
Unit Conversion

To switch between weighing units (grams 'g' or ounces 'oz'), press the MODE button while the scale is on. The current unit will be displayed on the screen.
Tare Function (Zeroing)

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or previous ingredients, so you can measure subsequent items accurately. This is useful for weighing multiple ingredients in the same bowl.
- Place an empty container on the scale platform. The display will show its weight.
- Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0g" or "0oz".
- Add the item(s) you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the net weight of the added item(s).
- You can repeat the tare process for multiple ingredients.
Weighing Items
With the scale powered on and displaying "0g" or "0oz", gently place the item(s) you wish to weigh onto the center of the weighing platform. The weight will be displayed instantly.
