4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly is straightforward and typically takes 10-15 minutes. A Philips screwdriver is required for one screw.
- Attach the Stand Pole to the Base: Insert the bottom end of the adjustable stand pole into the base. Secure it firmly using the provided screw and a Philips screwdriver from underneath the base.
- Attach the Fan Head to the Stand Pole: Carefully align the fan head assembly with the top of the stand pole. Slide it down until it clicks into place or can be secured with the tightening knob.
- Adjust Height (Optional): Loosen the height adjustment knob on the stand pole, extend or retract the upper pole to your desired height (between 1m and 1.25m), and then tighten the knob securely.

5. Operating Instructions
Your Russell Hobbs Pedestal Fan is designed for ease of use with simple controls.
- Power On/Off and Speed Control: Locate the rotary switch on the back of the fan head. Turn the knob clockwise to select your desired speed setting:
- 0: Off
- 1: Low Speed
- 2: Medium Speed
- 3: High Speed
- Oscillation Function: To activate the oscillation (side-to-side movement), push down the oscillation pin located on top of the motor housing. To stop oscillation and fix the fan in one direction, pull the pin up.
- Adjusting Tilt: The fan head can be tilted up or down to direct airflow. Gently push or pull the fan head to the desired angle.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
