2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery
- Connect the charger to a suitable power outlet.
- Insert the battery into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
- Allow the battery to fully charge before first use. Charging time may vary.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger.
4.2 Inserting the Battery
- Ensure the secateurs are turned off.
- Align the charged battery with the battery compartment at the base of the secateurs handle.
- Slide the battery firmly into place until it clicks, indicating it is securely locked.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the power button until the indicator light illuminates or the display activates.
- To power off, press and hold the power button again until the indicator light turns off or the display deactivates.
5.2 Cutting Operation
- With the tool powered on, position the branch or stem to be cut between the open blades.
- Ensure the material is within the maximum cutting capacity (1.25 inches / 32mm).
- Squeeze the trigger firmly to close the blades and make the cut. Release the trigger to open the blades.
- Avoid twisting the tool during a cut, as this can damage the blades or mechanism.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your secateurs. Always disconnect the battery before performing any maintenance.
6.1 Blade Cleaning and Lubrication
- After each use, clean sap and debris from the blades using a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
- Apply a few drops of the provided lubricant or a suitable non-corrosive oil to the blade pivot point and cutting surfaces.
- Operate the blades a few times to distribute the lubricant evenly.

6.2 Battery Care and Storage
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50% capacity.
- Do not store the battery fully discharged or fully charged for extended periods.

Store the secateurs in their original case in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children.
