- Storage: Store your model in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration and material degradation.
- Handling: Handle the model by its sturdy parts. Avoid excessive force on delicate joints or thin parts.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during assembly or display, consider the following common solutions:
- Parts Not Fitting:
- Ensure you are using the correct parts for the step. Refer to the instruction booklet.
- Check for any remaining plastic nubs on the part or connection point that might be obstructing the fit. Carefully trim them.
- If a joint is too tight, gently widen the peg hole slightly with a hobby knife or a small drill bit (use extreme caution).
- Loose Joints:
- Apply a thin layer of clear nail polish or a specialized hobby joint tightener to the peg or inside the joint to increase friction. Allow to dry completely.
- Broken Parts:
- For minor breaks, plastic cement or super glue can be used. Apply sparingly.
- For significant breaks or missing parts, contact Bandai customer support for potential replacement options.
