4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your Skip Hop Sit-to-Step High Chair. An Allen wrench is included for assembly.
4.1. High Chair Assembly
- Attach the beechwood leg sections to the plastic leg connectors, ensuring they click securely into place.
- Connect the assembled leg units to the main high chair seat frame using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
- Slide the footrest into the designated slots on the lower leg sections. Adjust to the desired height if multiple positions are available.
- Place the removable seat cover and supportive infant insert (if needed) into the high chair seat. Thread the harness straps through the appropriate openings.
- Attach the tray by aligning it with the slots on the armrests and pushing it forward until it clicks into place. The tray has adjustable positions; press the button underneath to slide it.

4.2. Converting to Toddler Kitchen Helper
To convert the high chair to a toddler kitchen helper:
- Remove the tray and the high chair seat cover.
- Detach the high chair seat from the frame by pressing the release buttons on the sides and lifting the seat off.
- Attach the toddler helper handlebar to the top of the frame where the high chair seat was previously connected. Ensure it clicks securely.
- The footrest will now serve as the standing platform for the toddler.
