Setup

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all listed package contents are present.
  2. Battery Installation: The bus requires 2 AA batteries, which are included. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the bus. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, open the compartment. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment and secure with the screw.
  3. Smart Stages Level Selection: The bus features three Smart Stages levels. Locate the Smart Stages switch, usually near the battery compartment or on the top of the bus. Select the appropriate learning level for your child's age and developmental stage.

Operating Instructions

Basic Play

  • Push-Along Play: The bus is designed for push-along play. Children can push the bus manually across surfaces.
  • Pull-Along Feature: The bus includes a pull handle that stores underneath. Extend the handle for children to pull the bus along, encouraging gross motor skills. The handle can be folded back under the bus for compact storage or push-only play.
  • Figure Placement: Place the Little People figures into the designated seats on the bus. The bus has space for up to 12 figures (additional figures sold separately).

Interactive Features

  • Discovery Buttons: Press the Discovery Buttons located on the top of the bus to activate music, sounds, lights, and phrases. These features introduce educational content like the alphabet, counting, and shapes.
  • Opening Door: Manually open the side door of the bus to allow figures to enter and exit.
  • Stop Sign: Flip out the stop sign on the side of the bus for realistic play scenarios.
  • Wheelchair Ramp: The bus features a wheelchair ramp that can be extended from the rear to accommodate figures in wheelchairs, promoting inclusive play.

Maintenance
