Setup

  1. Power Connection: Connect a compatible 9V DC (center negative) power supply to the DC input jack on the rear of the pedal.
  2. Instrument Connection: Connect your instrument (guitar, bass, etc.) to the IN jack on the rear of the pedal using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
  3. Output Connection: Connect the OUT jack to your amplifier's input, a mixer, or an audio interface using a standard 1/4-inch cable.
  4. MIDI Connection (Optional): If using an external MIDI controller, connect it to the MIDI IN port on the side of the pedal.

Ensure all connections are secure before powering on your amplifier or audio system.

Operating Instructions

Preset Selection:

Adjusting and Saving Presets:

  1. Select the desired preset using the DOWN/UP footswitches.
  2. Adjust the LEVEL, HIGH, LOW, DRIVE, CRUNCH, PUNCH, BUZZ, and GAIN knobs to achieve your desired tone. The TRIM knob can be used for fine input level adjustments.
  3. To save your changes, press and hold the SAVE button (located above the ACTIVE/SEARCH footswitch) for approximately two seconds until the LED display flashes.
  4. While the display is flashing, you can choose to save to the current preset location or select a new location using the DOWN/UP footswitches.
  5. Press the SAVE button again to confirm and store the preset.

MIDI Control:

The SansAmp PSA 2.0 responds to MIDI Program Change (PC) messages. Connect a MIDI controller to the MIDI IN port. Each preset corresponds to a specific MIDI PC number, allowing for remote control and integration into larger MIDI setups. Refer to your MIDI controller's manual for sending Program Change messages.
