Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The Vanguard Vesta FB 204ABS kit includes:

2. Initial Tripod Deployment

  1. Unfold Legs: Gently pull the tripod legs outwards until they click into their first locked position.
  2. Extend Legs: Each leg features quick flip leg locks. Open these locks to extend the leg sections to your desired height. Close the locks firmly to secure the leg sections.
  3. Adjust Leg Angles: The tripod offers three easy-set leg angles (21°, 50°, and 80°). To change an angle, press the angle adjustment tab at the top of each leg and reposition the leg to the desired angle.

3. Attaching Your Camera

  1. Remove Quick Release Plate: Locate the large locking knob on the VESTA T-46 Ball Head. Loosen it to release the QS-64 quick release plate.
  2. Attach Plate to Camera: Secure the QS-64 quick release plate to the base of your camera using the integrated screw. Ensure it is tightened firmly to prevent camera rotation.
  3. Mount Camera: Align the quick release plate with the clamp on the ball head and slide it in until it clicks into place. Tighten the large locking knob on the ball head to secure your camera.

Operating Instructions

1. Adjusting Tripod Height

To adjust the tripod's height, open the quick flip leg locks on each leg section. Extend or retract the leg sections to the desired length, then firmly close the quick flip locks to secure them. For fine adjustments, the central column can be raised or lowered by loosening its locking knob, adjusting, and then re-tightening.

2. Ball Head Operation

The VESTA T-46 Ball Head allows for smooth and precise camera positioning. Loosen the large locking knob to adjust the camera's angle and orientation. Once the desired position is achieved, tighten the knob firmly to lock the ball head in place.
