• PIN Access: Supports up to 4 individual user passwords, one One-Time Password (OTP), and one master password. Passwords can range from 4 to 12 digits for enhanced security.
• RFID Card Access: Allows registration of up to 100 RFID cards for multiple users.
• Auto-locking: Automatically engages the bolt when the door is closed, eliminating the need for manual locking.
• Adjustable Spy Code: Enables users to enter random numbers before or after the actual password to prevent exposure to onlookers.
• Privacy Function: When activated from inside, the lock cannot be accessed from the outside using either RFID or a password.

4. Installation Guide

Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance and security of your digital lock. It is recommended to have the lock installed by a qualified technician.

4.1. Pre-Installation Check

Ensure your door meets the following requirements:

• Door Type: Wooden doors only.
• Door Thickness: Minimum 40mm, Maximum 50mm.
• Backset: 60mm.

4.3. Step-by-Step Installation

For a detailed visual guide, please refer to the installation video below. The following steps summarize the process:

1. Marking: Use the provided installation marker to mark the reference points on your door.
2. Drilling Holes: Drill 32mm diameter holes on the door as per the marked reference points using a suitable cutter.
3. Fixing Front Panel: Fix the front panel of the lock on the door from the outside of the room.
4. Mounting Back Plate: Mount the back plate on the door from inside the room, ensuring the wires pass through the designated channels. Secure it using screws.
5. Connecting and Fitting Lock Body: Attach the connector from the front panel to the Rim lock body. Fit the Rim lock body onto the back plate.
6. Securing Lock Body: Fix the lock body using the side screws.
7. Positioning Receptacle: Position the receptacle (striker plate) on the door frame as per the lock body and mark the screw points.
8. Fixing Receptacle: Drill holes for screws and fix the receptacle. If necessary, use the packing plates on the door frame to ensure proper alignment.
9. Inserting Batteries: Open the battery cover on the indoor unit and insert 4 AA alkaline batteries, observing correct polarity.

5. Operating Instructions

After successful installation, follow these steps to operate your digital lock.

5.1. Initial Setup and Master Password Change

The lock comes with a default Master Password of 1234*. It is highly recommended to change this immediately after installation. Ensure the door is open during programming.

1. Open the battery cover on the indoor unit and press the registration button.
2. On the outdoor keypad, enter the old Master Password (1234) and press '*'.
3. Then press '0'.
4. Enter your new Master Password (any 4-12 digits) and press '*'.

5.2. Adding User Passwords

You can add up to 4 individual user passwords.

1. Press the registration button on the indoor unit.
2. Enter the Master Password on the outdoor keypad, then press '1'.
3. Enter the new User Password (any 4-12 digits) and press '*'.

5.3. Adding RFID Key Cards

You can register up to 100 RFID cards.

1. Press the registration button on the indoor unit.
2. Enter the Master Password on the outdoor keypad, then press '2'.
3. Scan the RFID card which is to be added and press '*'.

5.4. General Operation

• Unlocking (Outside): Enter a valid PIN or scan a registered RFID card.
• Unlocking (Inside): Use the manual knob or push button.
• Locking: The lock automatically engages when the door is closed.

6. Maintenance

• Battery Replacement: When the low battery indicator sounds, replace all four AA alkaline batteries promptly. Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Cleaning: Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the finish.
• Regular Checks: Periodically check that all screws are tight and the lock operates smoothly.

• Lock not responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure correct PIN entry or RFID card placement.
• Alarm sounds repeatedly: This indicates a break-in attempt (5 incorrect entries). Verify the correct PIN/RFID card. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
• Privacy function engaged: If the lock cannot be opened from the outside, check if the privacy button on the indoor unit is activated.
