Important Safety Information

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residue.
3. Positioning: Place the power base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
4. Kettle Placement: Place the kettle securely onto the power base.

Operating Instructions

Boiling Water with the Kettle:

1. Fill the Kettle: Open the kettle lid or use the ProntoFill technology to fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN line or above the MAX line (1.7L).
2. Place on Base: Ensure the kettle is properly seated on its power base.
3. Power On: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Press the power switch down. The blue LED lights will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
4. Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically shut off once the water reaches a rolling boil. The blue LED lights will turn off.
5. Serve: Carefully lift the kettle from the base and pour the hot water.

Making Tea with the Teapot:

1. Prepare Infuser: Place your desired amount of loose-leaf tea or tea bags into the stainless steel infuser.
2. Add Hot Water: Once the water in the kettle has boiled, carefully remove the kettle lid. Pour the hot water from the kettle into the 27oz borosilicate glass teapot.
3. Steep Tea: Place the infuser into the teapot. Allow the tea to steep for the recommended time according to your tea type.
4. Keep Warm (Optional): For extended warmth, place the filled teapot directly on top of the kettle (after removing the kettle lid). The residual heat from the kettle will help keep the tea warm.
5. Serve: Remove the infuser from the teapot once steeping is complete. Pour and enjoy your freshly brewed tea.

Cleaning:

• Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
