Setup
Initial Pairing:
- Ensure both earbuds are in the charging case and fully charged.
- Open the charging case lid. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "Motast i09" from the list.
- Once connected, you will hear a confirmation prompt, and the earbuds' indicator lights will turn off or flash slowly.
The earbuds will automatically connect to the last-paired device when removed from the case, provided Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

Charging
The Motast i09 earbuds come with a portable charging case that provides significant extended battery life.
Earbud Charging:
- Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are properly seated in their respective slots.
- The LED indicators on the earbuds and the digital display on the case will show charging status.
- A single charge provides approximately 6 hours of playtime.
Case Charging:
- Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and to a USB power source.
- The digital display on the case will show the charging percentage.
- It takes approximately 1.5 hours for the case to fully charge.
- The fully charged case can recharge the earbuds approximately 23 times, providing a total playtime of up to 140 hours.

Waterproof Features
The Motast i09 earbuds are rated IP7 waterproof, meaning they are protected against immersion in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. This makes them suitable for:

- Running in light rain
- General outdoor activities
Note: The charging case is NOT waterproof. Do not expose the charging case to water or moisture.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds, especially the ear tips and charging contacts, with a soft, dry cloth. If earwax or debris accumulates on the charging contacts, it may prevent proper charging.
- Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged.
- Avoid Extreme Conditions: Do not expose the earbuds or case to extreme temperatures, humidity, or corrosive materials.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Only one earbud has sound or earbuds are not connected to each other:
- First, delete the Bluetooth pairing name of the headset on your mobile phone.
- Turn off your phone's Bluetooth function and place both earbuds back into the charging box.
- After 10 seconds, remove the earphones from the charging case. They should automatically pair with each other. The indicator light of one earbud will flash slowly to confirm successful pairing.
- Turn on your phone's Bluetooth to search and pair with the earbuds again.
- Earbuds not charging in the case:
- Ensure the charging contacts on both the earbuds and inside the case are clean and free of debris.
- Make sure the earbuds are properly seated in the charging slots. The blue light on the earbud will blink if it's not seated properly.
- Check if the charging case itself has sufficient battery charge.
- Poor sound quality or connection drops:
- Ensure the earbuds are within the 15-meter Bluetooth range of your device.
