Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your wave maker. The unit is designed for easy disassembly for cleaning.

If you encounter issues with your hygger Mini Wave Maker, consider the following common problems and solutions:
- Error Code 7: This error typically indicates an issue with the impeller being obstructed or not spinning freely.
- Unplug the unit.
- Remove the powerhead from the tank and carefully disassemble the impeller area.
- Check for any debris, sand, or foreign objects that might be blocking the impeller.
- Clean the impeller and its shaft thoroughly.
- Reassemble and restart the unit.

- Reduced Flow: If the water flow is weaker than expected, ensure the impeller is clean and free of obstructions. Also, check that the power level setting on the controller is appropriate for your tank size.
- Unusual Noise: Excessive noise can be caused by debris in the impeller or improper seating of the powerhead. Clean the impeller and ensure the magnetic mount is firmly attached to the tank glass.
