COOSHADE 13x13Ft Pop Up Canopy Tent Instruction Manual

This manual provides detailed guidance for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your COOSHADE 13x13Ft Pop Up Canopy Tent, designed for large outdoor sun protection.

1. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps for quick and easy assembly of your COOSHADE Pop Up Canopy Tent.

1.1 Unpacking and Initial Expansion

  1. Remove from Carry Bag: Carefully remove the folded frame and canopy top from the wheeled carry bag.
  2. Partial Frame Expansion: With a partner, grasp two opposite legs of the frame. Partially pull the frame apart to about half its full width.

1.2 Attaching the Canopy Top

  1. Secure Canopy to Frame: Drape the canopy fabric over the partially expanded frame. Secure the canopy top to the frame using the hook and loop straps located at each corner and along the truss joints. Ensure all clips are fastened securely.

1.3 Full Expansion and Height Adjustment

  1. Fully Expand Frame: From underneath the canopy, push up the central lock device vertically until it clicks into position, indicating the frame is fully expanded.
  2. Adjust Leg Height: Press the red pinch-free push buttons on each leg to adjust the height. Lift the outer leg until it locks into your desired height. There are three height options available.

1.4 Securing the Canopy

  1. Use Sandbags and Stakes: Fill the provided sandbags with sand and attach them to the canopy legs for added stability. Use the included stakes and ropes to firmly secure the canopy to the ground, especially in windy conditions.

2. Operating Your Canopy

Your COOSHADE canopy is designed for ease of use and maximum comfort.

2.1 Shade Coverage and Design Features

  • Large Shade Area: The 10'x10' straight leg frame with a 13'x13' top provides 169 sq. ft. of shade, comfortably accommodating up to 10 people.
  • Extended Eaves: The canopy features mega extended-eaves that automatically extend when the gazebo opens, distributing additional shade.
  • Double Top Design: A wind-vented double top design helps ventilate the interior, releasing trapped heat and increasing stability in windy conditions by allowing air to pass through.
  • Drain Holes: Several drain holes are integrated into the canopy to alleviate water ponding during rain.

2.2 Sun Protection

3. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Keep the canopy fabric clean by wiping it with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the material.
  • Drying: Ensure the canopy is completely dry before folding and storing to prevent mold and mildew growth.
  • Storage: Store the canopy in its provided wheeled carry bag in a cool, dry place when not in use.

4. Troubleshooting

  • Water Ponding: If water collects on the canopy, ensure the drain holes are clear and the canopy is taut. Adjust leg heights if necessary to create proper water runoff.
  • Wind Instability: Always use the provided sandbags, stakes, and ropes to secure the canopy. In strong winds, consider lowering the canopy or disassembling it to prevent damage.
  • Difficulty in Setup/Takedown: Ensure the frame is fully expanded or collapsed before attempting to lock/unlock the central hub or adjust legs. Two people are recommended for easier handling.
