  1. Setting the Date: Gently pull the crown (middle button on the right side) out to the first position. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise until the correct date is displayed in the date window.
  2. Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to the second position. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time. Ensure the 24-hour sub-dial (if applicable) is also correctly aligned with AM/PM. Once set, push the crown back into its original position to start the watch.

Operating the Watch

1. Time and Date Display

The watch features an analog display for hours, minutes, and seconds. The date is shown in a dedicated window on the dial. A 24-hour sub-dial provides an additional time reference.

2. Chronograph Function

The chronograph allows for precise timing of events. Refer to the diagram in the Setup section for button identification.

  • Start/Pause: Press the top right button to start the chronograph. Press it again to pause.
  • Reset: While the chronograph is paused, press the bottom right button to reset all chronograph hands to zero.
  • Sub-dials: The watch features sub-dials for chronograph minutes and chronograph seconds, allowing for detailed time measurement.

3. Luminous Effect

The watch hands and hour markers are coated with a luminous material. After exposure to light, these elements will glow in the dark, providing visibility in low-light conditions.

4. Water Resistance (3 ATM)

Your MEGALITH watch is rated for 3 ATM (30 meters) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, and sweat. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any water-related activities where it would be submerged. Avoid pressing any buttons while the watch is wet to prevent water ingress.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Use the provided microfiber cleaning cloth to gently wipe the watch case, crystal, and band. For more thorough cleaning of the stainless steel band, a soft brush with mild soap and water can be used, ensuring the watch head is not submerged and dried thoroughly afterwards.

2. Battery

The watch is powered by a Japanese Quartz movement, which typically has a battery life of over one year. When the watch stops or the second hand begins to skip, it indicates that the battery needs to be replaced. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

3. General Care

  • Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or sudden temperature changes.
  • Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields, as these can affect the accuracy of the quartz movement.
  • Protect the watch from impacts and drops to prevent damage to the crystal or internal components.
  • Ensure the crown is always pushed in fully to maintain water resistance.

Troubleshooting

1. Watch Not Functioning

If the watch is not running, first ensure the crown is fully pushed into its normal operating position. If the watch still does not function, the battery may need replacement. Please consult a professional watch technician for battery replacement.

2. Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero

If the chronograph hands do not return to their zero position after pressing the reset button, a manual adjustment may be required. This procedure typically involves pulling the crown to a specific position and using the chronograph pushers to align the hands. Refer to a professional watch technician if you are unsure how to perform this adjustment.

3. Date Not Changing

Ensure the time is set correctly, especially past midnight, as the date typically changes during this period. If the date is stuck, try manually advancing it using the crown in the first position.
