Setup
1. Mounting the Scope
Select the appropriate mounting rings (11mm Dovetail or 20mm Picatinny/Weaver) for your rifle. Securely attach the rings to your rifle's rail. Place the scope into the rings, ensuring proper eye relief and reticle alignment. Tighten the ring screws evenly to avoid damaging the scope tube. Do not overtighten.
2. Attaching the Sunshade
Thread the sunshade onto the objective end of the scope if desired. The sunshade helps reduce glare and protect the objective lens.
3. Installing the Illumination Battery
The scope requires one CR2032 battery for reticle illumination (battery not included due to shipping policies). Unscrew the illumination control cap, insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing outwards, and then screw the cap back on securely.

This image highlights the adjustable turrets for windage and elevation, along with the mounting ring screws for secure attachment.
Operating Instructions
1. Adjusting Magnification
Rotate the magnification ring, located near the eyepiece, to adjust the zoom level from 3x to 9x. Turn clockwise for higher magnification and counter-clockwise for lower magnification.

This image illustrates the visual difference between 3x, 6x, and 9x magnification settings, controlled by the zoom ring on the scope.
2. Reticle Illumination
Turn the illumination control dial, located on the left side of the scope, to activate the reticle illumination. You can select between red, green, or blue colors and adjust the brightness to one of three levels for optimal visibility in varying light conditions.

This image displays the three reticle illumination colors (red, green, blue) and the dial used to select the color and adjust brightness levels.
3. Windage and Elevation Adjustments
The scope features finger-adjustable turrets for windage (horizontal adjustment) and elevation (vertical adjustment). To adjust, pull up the turret cap, make the necessary clicks for adjustment, and then push the cap back down to lock the setting. Each click typically represents a specific change in point of impact (e.g., 1/4 MOA).
4. Using Flip-Up Lens Covers
The included flip-up lens covers protect the objective and eyepiece lenses from dust, dirt, and scratches when not in use. Simply flip them open for immediate use and close them for protection.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Lenses
Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lenses. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optics. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could scratch the lens coatings.
General Care
The Goetland Rifle Scope is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and is designed to be waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof. While durable, avoid unnecessary impacts. Store the scope in a dry, cool place when not in use. Ensure all caps and covers are in place to protect against environmental elements.

Troubleshooting
- Blurred Image: Ensure the eyepiece focus is correctly adjusted for your vision. Also, check if the objective lens is clean.
- Reticle Not Illuminating: Verify that a fresh CR2032 battery is correctly installed with the positive (+) side facing out. Check if the illumination dial is turned to an 'ON' position and not between settings.
- Inconsistent Point of Impact: Ensure the scope is securely mounted to the rifle with all screws tightened. Check that the windage and elevation turrets are locked after adjustment.
- Fogging: While the scope is fogproof, extreme temperature changes can sometimes cause temporary external condensation. Allow the scope to acclimate to the temperature. If internal fogging occurs, contact customer support.
