2. Safety Information

Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before using this appliance to prevent injury or damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the rating label.
  • Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified service agent.
  • Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain a minimum distance of 20 cm from walls or other objects.
  • Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the air inlet/outlet.
  • Always unplug the unit before cleaning or servicing.
  • Do not use the appliance in wet rooms such as bathrooms or laundries.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • The appliance contains R290 refrigerant. Do not puncture or burn. Be aware that R290 is odorless.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the air conditioner and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. Do not operate if damaged.
  3. Keep the packaging materials for future storage or transport.

4.2 Installation

The portable air conditioner must be placed on a flat, stable surface and requires proper ventilation for the exhaust hose.

  1. Positioning: Place the unit near a window or opening where the exhaust hose can be vented outdoors. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of space around the unit for proper airflow.
  2. Attach Exhaust Hose: Screw the exhaust hose adapter onto one end of the exhaust hose. Attach the other end of the hose to the air outlet on the back of the unit by twisting it clockwise until secure.
  3. Window Kit Installation: Extend the window sealing plate to fit your window opening. Insert the flat nozzle of the exhaust hose into the opening of the window sealing plate. Secure the window kit in place to prevent air leakage.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet meets the unit's power requirements.

5. Operating Instructions

The unit can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the provided remote control.

5.1 Control Panel and Display

The control panel features buttons for Power, Mode, Temperature Up/Down, Fan Speed, Timer, and Swing. The LED display shows the current temperature setting and other indicators.

5.2 Remote Control

The remote control allows you to operate all functions of the air conditioner from a distance. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the unit's receiver.

5.3 Operating Modes

  • Cool Mode: Press the 'MODE' button until the 'Cool' indicator lights up. Use the 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons to set your desired temperature (16°C - 30°C). The unit will cool the room to the set temperature.
  • Fan Mode: Press the 'MODE' button until the 'Fan' indicator lights up. In this mode, the unit circulates air without cooling. Use the 'SPEED' button to select fan speed (Low, Medium, High).
  • Dehumidify Mode: Press the 'MODE' button until the 'Dry' indicator lights up. The unit will remove excess moisture from the air. The fan speed is automatically set to low in this mode.

5.4 Timer Function

Press the 'TIMER' button to set the desired operating time (1-24 hours) for the unit to automatically turn on or off. Each press increases the time by one hour.

5.5 Swing Function

Press the 'SWING' button to activate or deactivate the automatic oscillation of the air louvers, distributing air more evenly.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures efficient operation and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.

6.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Turn off the unit and unplug it from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the air filter panel (usually at the back or side of the unit) and remove it.
  3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
  4. Reinstall the dry filter and close the panel.

6.2 Draining Water

While the unit has a self-evaporative system, in high humidity conditions or prolonged use, the internal water tank may fill up. The unit will stop operating and display an error code (e.g., 'FL' for full tank).

  1. Turn off the unit and unplug it.
  2. Place a shallow pan or tray under the drain port (located at the bottom rear of the unit).
  3. Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
  4. Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
  5. For continuous drainage in dehumidify mode, attach the provided drain hose to the continuous drain port.

6.3 Storage

If storing the unit for an extended period:

  1. Drain all condensed water from the unit.
  2. Clean the air filter.
  3. Run the unit in fan-only mode for a few hours to dry the internal components.
  4. Unplug the power cord and coil it neatly.
  5. Store the unit in a dry, cool place, preferably in its original packaging.
