This document provides comprehensive instructions for the Fricgore WT-264 Carburetor, a direct replacement component for specific Stihl hedge trimmer models. The carburetor is a critical part of the engine's fuel system, responsible for mixing air and fuel in the correct ratio for combustion.

2. Compatibility

3. Installation Guide
Safety First: Before beginning any work on your equipment, ensure the engine is turned off, cool, and the spark plug wire is disconnected to prevent accidental starting.

Installation Steps:
- Drain Fuel: Carefully drain all fuel from the hedge trimmer's fuel tank into an approved container.
- Access Carburetor: Remove the air filter cover and air filter. Locate the carburetor, which is typically mounted between the air filter housing and the engine intake manifold.

4. Initial Adjustment and Operation
After installation, some initial steps are necessary to ensure proper function.
- Refill Fuel: Fill the fuel tank with the appropriate fuel mixture as specified by your hedge trimmer's manufacturer.
- Prime Carburetor: Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the bulb and flows freely, indicating the carburetor is primed.
- Start Engine: Follow your hedge trimmer's starting procedure. The engine may require a few extra pulls to start after a carburetor replacement.
- Idle Adjustment: Once the engine is running and warmed up, check the idle speed. If the engine idles too fast or too slow, locate the idle adjustment screw (typically marked 'LA' or 'T') on the carburetor and turn it clockwise to increase idle speed or counter-clockwise to decrease it. Adjust until the engine idles smoothly without the cutting attachment moving.
- High/Low Speed Adjustment (if applicable): Some carburetors have high (H) and low (L) speed mixture screws. Unless you have experience, it is recommended to leave these at their factory settings or consult a qualified service technician for adjustment. Incorrect adjustment can damage the engine.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance of the carburetor and fuel system ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your hedge trimmer.
- Fuel System Cleanliness: Always use fresh, clean fuel mixed according to your hedge trimmer's specifications. Stale or contaminated fuel can clog the carburetor.
- Fuel Filter: Periodically inspect and replace the fuel filter located inside the fuel tank. A clogged fuel filter restricts fuel flow to the carburetor.
- Air Filter: Clean or replace the air filter regularly. A dirty air filter restricts airflow, leading to a rich fuel mixture and poor engine performance.
- Carburetor Cleaning: If the carburetor becomes clogged or dirty, it may require cleaning. This typically involves disassembling the carburetor, cleaning jets and passages with carburetor cleaner, and replacing gaskets and diaphragms. This procedure is best performed by an experienced technician.

6. Troubleshooting
